The City Palace is the most visited historical places in Udaipur. The City Palace constructed in the year of 1559 by a great ruler of Udaipur Maharana Udai Mirza Singh. It is the second largest artificial lake in Asia which is located in the Udaipur District of Rajasthan in Western India. The lake is spread across 100 sq. km. of the area. The lake is constructed in 17th century by Maharaja Jai Singh while there was building a dam across the Gomati River. Local people also called it Dhebar Lake.
